USE OF A ROAD WIDENER:

The STRASSMAYR RW 300 side stacker is suitable for stacking loose materials and bituminous mass (using a higher temperature strength feeding belt) on the sides. Strassmayr side stackers are already working on several continents. The machine is mainly used for forming roadsides, widening existing pavements or creating bicycle roads.

We especially recommend electrically controlled models which allow to reduce costs thanks to operation from the cabin.

PUSH OR PULL?

 

The PUSH version, mounted with a mounting plate to the loader, excavator or tractor, can lay materials up to 3 m in width.
The PULL version is pulled by the tipper, which reduces the need for additional equipment and the number of operators. It gives the possibility to work up to 1 m in width.

The front towing system (PULL version) allows handling of the widener without the need for a dedicated wheel loader or excavator-loader. The role of the drive unit is taken over by the truck, which is already present at the construction site, providing material to arrange.

Manual adjustment of the hook height provides a good connection to the truck and proper setting of the machine for the process of widening the road. Hydraulic actuators, which replace two front wheels, allow smooth and stepless adjustment of the machine height, allowing seamless coupling with the truck.
